Good mental health and wellbeing is one of the most valuable assets an organisation can have.  1 in 4 people in the UK suffer from mental ill-health and only 14% of people don’t know anyone with a mental health condition.  Thankfully it is being talked about more and more as people begin to understand the stigma and fear attached to mental health conditions.  We are pleased to announce that we are now delivering a range of regulated First Aid for Mental Health courses; aimed at individuals who want to know how to recognise and support those with range of mental health conditions as well as those in the workplace who wish to take responsibility for or lead in provision of first aid for mental health.  All our qualifications are accredited by First Aid Awards through Nuco Training and sit on the Scottish Qualifications Framework at levels 4, 5 and 6.

First Aid for the Workplace

We offer competitively priced regulated qualifications to suit your needs including: First Aid at Work, Emergency First Aid at Work, AED training, Activity & Paediatric First Aid. A new combined FAW and Paediatric qualification is also available.
All our workplace courses follow a regulated syllabus and are approved by Qualsafe Awards, our regulated Awarding Organisation. Qualifications last for 3 years. Courses are available for groups or individuals and can be delivered at our own or the client’s venue.

With Rugby and Football season now underway,  fans have a lot to look forward to, but that shouldn’t include accidents and injuries.

Most contact sports include the risk of head injury, as players jump to challenge for the ball and collisions happen.  Sports injuries should always be taken seriously and its easy to learn how to respond confidently.

Are you involved in community sports or activities?  Book yourself on one of our Level 2 Activity First Courses and make sure you’re prepared for the unexpected!
