Course Summary

This is qualifies as a HSE recommended course under the HSE (First Aid) Regulations 1981.  It is compliant with current Resuscitation Council guidelines.

Duration: 12 contact hours delivered over 2 days

Course Description:

This course refreshes candidates on everything covered in the 3 day First Aid at Work syllabus, including any changes since the previous course.  It is designed to give candidates the confidence to continue their role as a competent First Aider in the workplace.  This course is also available for groups – see our onsite course pages or contact us for more information & prices.

Suitability:

The RFAW course is aimed at anyone who needs to renew their First Aid at Work qualification.

Pre-requisites:

Current 3 day First Aid at Work certificate (must be valid for the duration of this course).  To comply with legislation, candidates wishing to book this training will be required to provide us with a copy of their current FAW certificate if their previous training was not completed with Safe Hands.

As in 3 day First Aid at Work course.

Delivery & Assessment:

The FAW requalification course follows the same assessment criteria as the FAW course.  Candidates are continually evaluated by the instructor by means of practical observations, questioning and theoretical assessments.

On successful completion of this training, candidates will be issued with a new FAW certificate valid for a further 3 years. Safe Hands will notify employers 3 months before the expiry of any current certification in order to help them remain HSE compliant.
