Annual Skills Refresher

It is widely ackowledged that a first aider's skills drop rapidly after attending first aid training. Unfortunately this means that when an incident occurs, they might suffer 'first aid skill fade' or lack of confidence.
HSE strongly recommends that workplace First Aiders refresh their skills and knowledge annually. This 3 hour refresher course includes any relevant updates to help you keep your first aid practice current and skillset bang up to date.

With Rugby and Football season now underway,  fans have a lot to look forward to, but that shouldn’t include accidents and injuries.

Most contact sports include the risk of head injury, as players jump to challenge for the ball and collisions happen.  Sports injuries should always be taken seriously and its easy to learn how to respond confidently.

Are you involved in community sports or activities?  Book yourself on one of our Level 2 Activity First Courses and make sure you’re prepared for the unexpected!
